Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the ThinkAloud mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

ThinkAloud is a voice journaling application that provides:

  • Voice-to-text transcription capabilities
  • AI-powered insights and analysis of your thoughts
  • Personal journaling and reflection tools
  • Mental clarity and decision-making support

User Responsibilities

As a user of ThinkAloud, you agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
  • Not use the App to transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Maintain the security of your account and device
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key privacy commitments include:

  • Voice recordings are processed in real-time and not stored on our servers
  • Text transcriptions are temporarily processed for AI insights but not permanently stored
  • Your journal entries remain on your device and are not saved on our servers
  • We use third-party services (OpenAI, Google Analytics, Vercel, Supabase, RevenueCat, Sentry) as detailed in our Privacy Policy

Subscription and Payment

ThinkAloud may offer premium features through subscription services:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings
  • Refunds are subject to the policies of your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
  • We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days' notice

Intellectual Property

The App and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Luigi Donadel and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • That the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • The accuracy of AI-generated insights or transcriptions
  • That the App will meet your specific requirements
  • Compatibility with all devices or operating systems

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luigi Donadel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

Medical Disclaimer

ThinkAloud is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is designed for personal reflection and mental clarity, but it should not be used as a replacement for professional mental health care. If you are experiencing mental health concerns, please consult with a qualified healthcare provider.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
